About Me

I graduated with a first-class degree in Classics from Oxford in 2012 and immediately moved to Greece. I had fallen in love with the country and wanted to get to know it as deeply as possible. Since then, I have spent my time between Athens and Epirus, a mountainous region in north-west Greece, on the border of Albania. My working life is split between writing and guiding. I have been profiled by the leading Greek newspaper Kathimerini, as well as by Athens Voice and others. My book on Greek folk songs was listed by Adam Nicolson in The Week as one of his favourite books on Greece, and it was a Book of the Month for Greek News Agenda.

I have also spoken at literary festivals and worked as a guest lecturer for the Decorative Arts Trust of America.
